This massage originated in India more than 2,500 years ago and, along with knowledge of the body according to Chinese doctrine and medicine, intersected in Thailand. This is a deep massage. The theoretical basis for this style of working with the body is the existence of an "energy body", which includes the energy pathways that pass through the body. Pressure is applied to specific points and the body is stretched by yoga stretching to release blockages, release and restore energy flow in the body. Massage oil or emulsion is not used for this massage. Only balm can be used on really problematic parts of soft tissue. The task is to heat or cool the part (or both).
Traditional Thai massage gives the basis to all other Thai massages. Every masseuse who masters the technique of this massage can theoretically be said that she can also apply other types of Thai massages that are based on this tradition.

So how is it massaged?
It is not the kneading of soft tissue over fibers (muscles, etc.) as it is in Thai oil massage, but pressures are exerted on this soft tissue. It is therefore a mixture of acupressure, working with energy and gentle yoga stretches (see history of Thai massage). The client or our member in this procedure is wearing comfortable clothes, which he will receive from us. It lies on the floor with a hard to soft mattress or on a massage bed. In a more overheated environment, the masseuse can also use towels instead of clothes, through which she exerts massage presses just like through clothes. For the more shy, after all, clothing can be an advantage and quite practical, due to the manipulation of the person being massaged, changes in position (on the abdomen, back, sitting).
Benefits
It relaxes stiff joints, stretches muscles, increases range of motion and reduces mental stress. It is well suited for people with a larger amount of muscle or fat tissue, thanks to the possibility of variable pressure on the body, depending on the technique used or "school". Suitable for all those who can put more pressure on the body.
Disadvantages
They can't handle muscle stress as deftly as they can Thai oil massage That is also more suitable for people who are hypersensitive to pain or are also "beginners" to Thai massage. Problematic parts may hurt, but over time, that will work.
Summary
So it is more of a regenerative massage. It is not very suitable for relaxation itself, because there is more manipulation with the body of the person being massaged. Some people perceive such a massage as more painful, but these are just "problematic" places that have to go through a massage in order to regenerate. Anyone who has ever tried this massage and called it breakable may have felt as if something was wrong with him. After all, sometimes one of us can't afford it and prefers to call this Thai massage "breaking".
To ensure the best flow of energy flow in the body and the Thai concept of Thai masseurs looking at the body as a whole, this massage is performed from "heel to head".
